Get a Life - Part 2

Giver of life

Having understood who the source of life is, lets move on the second pillar of life. "Giver of life".

Act 17:24-25 made it clear that God The Father gives everyone life and breath and everything else.

"The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.

Its very important we understand, believe and accept that God is not only the source of life but also the giver of life and He made this possible through our counsellor, mediator and Prince of peace, full of Grace & Truth - Jesus Christ. [1 Tim 2:5]. Through Him, all things were made. This same life given to us through Christ gives light to the world.

You might be wondering, how does this life give light and what does it mean?

Light in the bible is a symbol of holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, grace, hope, and God's revelation, by contrast, darkness is associated with evil, sin, and despair. [JRR Tolkien]

No wonder Jesus said He has come to give us life even in abundance i.e nothing missing, lacking or broken, whereas the devil has come to do the opposite.

Its quite unfortunate that many people has given the devil foothold in their life to manipulate and deceive them into darkness using their own evil desires [James 1:13] But thank God the truth remains, Jesus has overcome the world [John 16:33]. It's matter of choice, either to follow Jesus and receive all encompassing blessings for an abundant life or reject Him and all He stands for and be left like an orphan. It's your call but I will advise you today to choose life and receive rest and peace of God.

Everything you have today is worthless without Jesus because the life you have right now is not yours. Only the giver of life knows the end from the beginning and you can trust Him with your life for renewal so you can be bear much fruits and be fulfilled.

No one can come to the Father our God except through Jesus so do not hide under the shadow and say "yea I believe in God" the main question is do you know the giver of life?

There is life after death, we are only here on earth as a sojourner, heaven is our home where there is no strive, sickness or disease or covid, bitterness/sorrow and the likes. Heaven is a place to be and Jesus is the Way & Judge. However, while you are still on this planet earth, you can live an abundant life, a life of peace, knowing God's got your back, knowing no matter what this world throws at you, there is someone going through it with you ensuring you are not hurt and crushed [2 Corinth 4:8-12].

How amazing is that, it is worth a try.

John 1:3-5: Through him (Jesus) all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

John 10:10: The thief (devil) comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I(Jesus) have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

John 14:6: Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Psalms 27:1: The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
