Everyone is in a Race

Whether you like it or not there is a race marked out for everyone to run by our Creator.
The question is what reward do we stand to get after the end of this race?
Would it be Crown of Life, Victor's Crown, Crown of Righteousness, Crown of Glory and Crown of Rejoicing?
Remember, we have been raised with Christ, and we ought to set our hearts and minds on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God, not on earthly things. For we died, and our life is now hidden with Christ in God. [Col 3:1-3]

Every athlete run a race to win a prize which they have their eyes fixed on, thereby serving as a motivation to finish well.
Now, you as an athlete in this world by default need to have a motivation. I would advise you to fix your eyes on JESUS, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
Consider Jesus for instance, He had to fix his eyes on something. It is called the Joy of the Lord which in the end he received the honor to sit at the right hand of our Father God Almighty. [Heb 12: 1-3]
Apostle Paul is a man like us and consider his words in 2 Tim 4:7-8.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
That kind of statement can only come from someone who knows his purpose and has embraced it and ran with it faithfully.
Folks, its not about how old we are or how long we've been a Christian, it is definitely about about living a life of purpose, pursuing the same mission statement laid down from Jesus which is in the will of God for men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, for us to seek and save the lost and make disciples. [Luke 19:10, 1 Tim 2:4, Matt 28:19-20].
Lets be wise friends, we all need JESUS to run this race. Fix your eyes on HIM.
