Young, vibrant, energetic, inquisitive, skilled but often lack wisdom and direction
Singles aspiring to be in a relationship with the purpose of getting married need to start planning how to build your home. Do not wait until you say "I do". Always plan ahead. Even Jesus himself is a planner -“Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it? [Luke 14:28]
When you humble yourself and recognize the fact that relationships is like a home, you will build with care and nurture/maintain it else destruction awaits you.
The wise woman builds her house [on a foundation of godly precepts, and her household thrives], But the foolish one [who lacks spiritual insight] tears it down with her own hands [by ignoring godly principles]. [Prov 14:1]
It is not only wise women that need to be build their home on a foundation of godly principles but likewise men.
My simple advise to you is this, be careful how you live your life, your relationships and you future. Interestingly, you cannot have a fulfilled life without first having a genuine relationship with your creator - Jesus Christ. He is the one who can make all things to work together for your good as you begin to love him as He as shown you His unconditional love by dying on the cross for your sins.
Lessons
1. How you start building your home determines the stability, durability, and longevity of your home in prosperity of that home. [Joshua 1:8, Matt 7:24-27]
The time to build a solid foundation of your future home is now. Infact your future starts now.
2. Every one of you is building something whether you know it or not or whether you believe it or not. Very soon, it would be obvious to people the type of home you are building or built
3. Your choices, daily actions, decisions, thoughts and mindset are contributing factor to the outlook of your building or home [Prov 16:9, Prov 15:22, Psalm 19:21, Romans 12:2, Psalm 139:23-24, Luke 14:28-30]
You may wonder why are decisions important: Because your Life is the TOTAL of all your decisions and their corresponding actions:
(1) THOUGHTS create ACTIONS,
(2) Actions create HABITS,
(3) Habits create CHARACTER,
(4) and Character creates DESTINY.
Your decision today determines your destiny tomorrow!
4. Your relationship with God, Son and Holy Spirit determines if your home will stand or be divided. [John 15:5, Phil 4:13]
5. You cannot rely on your skills, strength and intelligence to build a Christian home. [1 Sam 17, Luke 5:1-11]
I will recommend that you read this blog – Skills is not enough- Skills Is Not Enough (lifeinabundanceministries.org)
